About Total Rental

Doors opened in 1970 and Total Rental became the one stop for Homeowners and builders in the Phoenixville and surrounding areas. Today operating 3 locations including Phoenixville, Kimberton and Pottstown as well as The Party Center in Phoenixville Pennsylvania.   The tradition of hard work, quality equipment and expertise continues on today!  Our goal is to help our customers get the most out of their rentals and projects.

From the moment you call or come in to visit one of our locations, our staff will help you get the ball rolling on your rental.  They will help you pick the right equipment for the right job, schedule delivery, and be ready for any changes you may need to make.

Delivery

Our fast delivery service is all about getting the equipment into the hands of our customers as quickly as possible.  Our dispatchers work closely with our delivery drivers to ensure the equipment not only gets to it's destination in a timely manor, but will go the extra mile to make sure the delivery is accomodating to our customers.

Every Total Rental facility has qualified and expert mechanics trained to work on equipment.  This extends from ours to yours. If you have any equipment that is in need of maintenance or repair, call us or bring it in.  We will be more than happy to diagnose and get it back to normal in the best timely manor possible.
RENTAL FAQ

When I rent a piece of equipment for a day, what exactly does that mean?

  • When you rent a piece of equipment for a day rental, you are allowed to have the equipment for up to 24 hours. However, if there is an hour meter on the equipment, you are allotted only 8 hours of running time.

If I have equipment delivered am I eligible for the 1/2 day rate if it's available for that piece of equipment?

  • No, equipment that is delivered is automatically a one day rental.

If I rent a piece of equipment and it rains and I do not get the chance to use it, will I still be charged?

  • Yes, when you rent the equipment you acknowledge the working conditions, including that of the weather and other unforeseen issues that are out of our control.

I'm renting a piece of equipment on a Saturday that I will need to use through Sunday. How will I be charged?

  • Equipment must be picked up after 10:00 AM on a Saturday, and returned by 9:00 AM Monday to qualify for a one day rental.    

How much does Total Rental charge to reserve equipment?

  • As a courtesy, we normally do not require a deposit to reserve equipment. However, reservations for delivery will not be delivered before payment is received.

Do I have to refuel equipment before returning?

  • Yes, or a fuel charge may apply.
